Great little neighborhood bar. The drinks are priced affordable and the food is OK.  They have slot games available. I've been here on many dates because I like the pool table and it's close to my house.

Update: came back to try this place again. Needless to say Sunday football no one in the place the bartender had a crappy attitude and took her forever to acknowledge us and then told us we she couldn't change the game on the tv which btw was volleyball. I can see why no ones there on a Sunday. So I can also say I won't be back and don't picture this place being around long.

Came to Joey's out of a spur of the moment decision. Hidden place in the back of a parking lot. It's a chill place, atmosphere is relaxed. Good music. Interesting menu. Chose an off menu special. Wasn't what I thought it would be, but for $14 it was good. Will try other things another time, I'd come back. I like that it wasn't crazy packed loud and obnoxious. Server was great. Overall nice place, decor has a cool creativeness

Tried the pizza here last night! It is loaded with toppings! 12 inch was enough for two. Highly recommend!

My wife is an alcoholic and has been frequenting this bar for a number of years. The owner and the bartender here (Odie) will serve her and don't seem to know or care when she has had enough. A few years ago she left this bar visibly drunk, fell down in the parking lot passed out injuring herself.  she was found and taken to an ER.  I had to ride my bike there the next morning to find our car so I could pick her up at the hospital. Why would they allow someone so visibly drunk to leave their bar to drive home.  Totally irresponsible.

Last night, after drinking all morning she was passed out when I came home from school at 2:45. At about 3:00 she woke up and decided she needed to go out to drink some more.  I tried to discourage that, but she took a Lyft to Joey's. She fell down in the parking lot prior to entering the bar injuring her face.  Once again they continued to serve her not recognizing that she was drunk.  The owner and bartender (Odie,) both apparently knowledgeable about domestic abuse, decided to report this to the police. So about 11:30 last night our doorbell rang getting us out of bed with a visit from the police.  Now I have never physically abuse my wife even though dealing with her alcoholism for many years.  The police agreed.  Its apparent to me that the owner and their bartenders either on purpose or through lack of training don't know when to cut off a patron insuring that they get drunk and make bad decisions. Decisions resulting on them putting more money into their machines and unfortunately for my wife; she falls down and hurts herself.  I will never go here and anyone with a drinking problem should stay away.
